It’s the Thursday after Valentine’s day and I caught myself sitting on my couch watching an old episode of Sex and the City. First off, I love this show. I used to watch it religously. I love Charlotte for her beautiful and well put together self. I have my own inner Carrie…with her love of fashion. I envy Miranda’s intellegence and I’m just in awe of Samantha’s care-free relationship style. I think deep down, we are all a mixutre of these women. That’s why so many of us relate to these character’s on this show.

Anyway, the episode I happened to be watching today was the one where the women were out to there regular girls lunch and they were gossiping about love. Charolette was freshly divorced…and on her new quest for love. During this lunch with her best gal pals, Charolette stated that you only have two great loves in your life. For some reason, this stuck with me. I caught myself whether or not this true? So, I started considering my love life in rewind.

I have definitely loved a lot. But, I believe we all love in different ways as well as being able to love different lovers on different levels. So, as I considered the different men in my life, and the times I have actually been in love, I thought this statement to be true. I think I have definitely only TRUELY loved twice in my lifetime. Once was my highschool sweetheart. He was the first man to ever steal my heart. I loved him…the crazy kind of love, where you would do anything for them as well as put up with all the stupid things they put you through. This relationship taught me so much. It taught me to love again, and be loved seeing as he was the first person I allowed to get close to me since my mother had passed away. This un-named man and I dated for five years. Five years that I cherish because they changed me. They allowed me to learn about love and relationships. They allowed me to know what I wanted in a relationship and they also allowed me to know what I DO NOT want in a relationship. I learned so much about myself on many differnet levels.

One, two…skip a few…there were other relationships after my first love. Some serious and some, well, not so serious. I found myself wanting to explore being single and learning the ways of life. I found myself appreciating my family and friends. I simply found myself experiencing life. I love the memories that I was able to create and all that I was able to experience. We all know I went on The Bachelor and then The Bachelorette. I fell in love, I got my heartbroken, and then fell in love again…only to get my heart broken again. Man, those were a few tough years for me.

Back in the summer of 2009, I found myself on an airplane, on my way back from Greece, and crying on my father’s shoulder. I was crying because I thought I had learned so much about life, love, and relationships and I just couldn’t understand why I was still single. I knew I had so much love to give and desperately wanted to be loved in return. The fear came over me…that I was going to be single forever, that I would never be satisfied or feel confident in a realationship.

My plane landed about nine hours later…back into the United States. I turned my cell phone on like any other normal American, checked my voicemail and was pleasantly surprised to have missed a phone call from a guy I was interested in while I was on vacation. I called him back right away and spent an hour on the phone with no hiccups in the conversation. I had no idea at that point how my life would change but, it did. By October of 2009, I was in love again. This time, the love was different. It was confident love. The kind of love that I knew I didn’t have to prove to anyone else. The kind of love where I found myself being satisfied with just this one man. Life definitely was not perfect but, I was confident in getting through it with just one person by my side for the rest of my life.

Stephen and I dated for just two weeks before I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. By just spending those short 14 days with him, I knew I had found the love that I had always been looking for. The kind of love that changes you. The kind of love that makes all the cliche’s real. The kind of love that makes you realize that you are finally satisfied. So, I agree with Charolette, There are two great loves in one’s lifetime. You may love many times and love in many different ways but, you will only find two loves that will change you within…

XOXO,

Well, well….here we are. Another week into The Bachelor, and love is in the air….literally. With Valentine’s day just around the corner, what more could we ask for other than watching a bunch of beautiful women falling in love with a hot man?! This week’s episode took us all on a journey straight to Costa Rica. If no one fell in love with Brad Womack, they definitely fell in love with this beautiful, tropical landscape!!

Chantal O got another one-on-one date. You go girl!! A lot of times, they do not give women multiple one-on-one dates until the “fantasy dates” roll around but, I was glad to see Chantal get another one because I enjoy watching the two of them together. Chantal is beautiful and Brad really seems to be taken with her. Chantal keeps Brad on his toes, and doesn’t let him get away with anything. They seem to laugh a lot together which is a good staple for a healthy relationship. Chantal reminds me of myself in more than one way. So, I like her! Brad seems to have a type, and Chantal fits right in there! It seems to rain on all of their dates. It just adds to the steam these two have created in their relationship thus far. I know Brad enjoyed seeing Chantal all comfy in his white dress shirt….and so did the rest of the millions of viewer’s watching! HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

For the group date, they went repelling down a water fall. This looks like fun…from far away! I am terrified of height’s so, hats off to all the ladies that were brave enough to do this. Not much to talk about on this group date other than Michelle acting crazy again. The whole punching Brad, was a bit annoying. Remember in grade school when we used to push and punch the boy we had a crush on? That is what this reminded me of. Since Michelle claims to be such a woman and so mature, it wasn’t very big on her part. Relationship 101, just be honest with your feelings and don’t play games…they are annoying and exhausting! Michelle seems to make everything about her and I am just getting a bit tired of it. She’s beautiful and hot, but looks can only get you so far in life. Come on Michelle, I was rooting for you!

As for Emily, we all know that I have said from day one that I just love her. The problem I see now is that Emily is not opening up very much. I think Brad really likes her and Emily also finds Brad very attractive, but I am not seeing any sparks there. I’m not sure if this is how Emily really is in person or if she may be very shy. I do know one thing though, Emily has to open up and give love a shot or she will find herself being very lonely after she realizes that she hasn’t truely opened up.

Lastly, two women were sent packing. Ali and Jackie. It comes as no surprise to me. There was absolutely no chemistry between Brad and either one of these beautiful ladies. Good luck Jackie and Ali. You will one day find the man you are meant to be with.

Please feel free to leave a comment or question…I love hearing from everyone! Here are a few answers to some questions you all have posted for me:
MaryLynn asked, “Do you think Britt is the dark horse?????” MaryLynn, I do not think Britt is the dark horse. I actually think Britt is going home next week. There is no chemistry between her and Brad.

Debbie C asked, “Ok, so, since you knew your final 4 at the first RC, did it feel “real” when you went out on dates with the other guys or were you just going through the motions??” Debbie, most of the time it felt real. There were just 1 or 2 dates where I was just going through the motions for the show because there was no chemistry between me or the guy. However, all of the men on my season were so nice, and I honestly enjoyed getting to know them. Also, some of the Bachelor’s or Bachelorette’s know pretty early on who is in the final 4…some final 2. Everyone is different. I think it takes a few weeks into the process to decide who your final one is. Feelings can always change at the drop of a hat during this process.

XOXO,

~Nicole and I filmed another episode of Rose Recap this morning. It was a fun one!! I will post it as soon as it is ready!

Here we are, yet another Tuesday…back to the land of roses. Last night’s episode of The Bachelor was a doozie! More crying ladies, more over the top dates, and more snarky comments from Michelle. Phew, say that three times fast!

We’ll start with the extravagant, pretty woman style, one on one date with Shawntel. This date is every girls dream! Every woman loves to be spoiled….if you are saying no right now, you are lying!! I believe Shawntel totally deserved this date. She enjoyed herself, she enjoyed her time with Brad, and she seemed very thankful for the shopping spree. That rates A+ in my book! Brad seemed to enjoy this shopping spree for Shawntel as well, but let’s be honest here…..no straight man loves shopping as much as Brad played it off! I think if the camera’s were set aside, Brad would be like any other man…sitting in the mall on a bench saying, “Are we done yet?!” A+ to you too my dear friend for being such an enthusiastic shopper! With all of that said, Brad and Shawntel’s second part of the date at dinner was quite awkward. It’s totally ok to be proud of your career but, it’s not ok to spend more than five minutes on a first date going into detail about it. I mean, with as much as Shawntel explained about embalming dead people, I could pretty much do it! At least one good thing came of Shawntel’s lecture…Brad seemed to get a real good laugh out of it in his personal interviews!

Speeding right ahead into the Nascar themed driving date. Other than the girls’ cattiness on this date, there is only one thing to discuss here…..Emily. I am right there with the rest of the millions of viewers when I say, my heart broke for Emily while watching this. When I first realized how upset Emily was, my reaction was to be angry at the producers for putting Emily in this predicament. I was so sad to see someone have to be forced into so much heartache, so openly, and without any warning to prepare herself; but, in the end, Emily handled it with so much grace. As a matter of fact, I believe this date was more therapeutic for Emily than anything . As she said it on the show, she drove the first couple of laps for Ricky, which was beautiful and so well deserved. The rest of the women were, unfortunately, kind of lost on this date. One thing I will just briefly touch on, during Brad’s one on one time with Chantal O., he called her “babe”. This is the first time we have heard a “pet” name come out of his mouth. I see the chemistry between Brad and Chantal O. It’s a chemistry that I have yet to see between him and any other women at this point.

On with the dreaded two on one date. The famous two on one date is never fun for any of the parties involved! On my season of The Bachelor with Brad, I was on a two on one date where he eventually sent home Jade. On my season of The Bachelorette, I had a very awkward two on one date with chef Robert and the ever so wonderful, Fred, where both men were sent home because I did not see a relationship with either of them. From both of those experiences, I can say without a doubt, the two on one date is so hard. Going in to it, The Bachelor or Bachelorette, always know who they want to keep and who they want to send home. Which makes it so hard because you pretty much have to fake it for hours for the sake of the show. No one feels good about themselves after having to lie like that. It is draining and heart breaking. With that said, I felt so bad for Ashley S. Honey, you are gorgeous and full of life! Love will happen for you when you least expect it! Hang in there! As for Ashley H., my predictions are that you are not far behind Ashely S. I like you both but, sadly, I am not seeing any chemistry with Brad. Lastly, did anyone else think that Brad looked like a “Toy Story G.I. Joe” with all that make-up and that camouflage outfit?!?! Brad, I love you man, but that was not your best look!

The Rose ceremony. Michelle is playing a good game with Brad. She takes a different approach than the rest of the women. She gets Brad to notice her with sex appeal and she does it well, to say the least. I think at least a few dirty thoughts went through Brad Womack’s mind as Michelle was bossing him around during her one on one time at the rose ceremony. She’s on her “A” game, ladies!

There are always women who do not recieve a rose. It’s the name of the game. I was not surprised at all by Brad’s choices to be sent home. Actually, I could not even remember who these ladies were last night. If they didn’t stand out to us viewers…they definitely did not stand out to Brad.

Here’s the poll question for this week: Which celebrity would you like to see as a Bachelor or Bachelorette? A) Jennifer Anniston (she told Allure magazine that the show was her guilty pleasure!!) B) John Mayer or C) Betty White

Feel free to post a comment, question, or your answer to the poll question of the week! I love to hear from you all and the best way to do that is here on my website! Also, I have been working very hard on a Bachelor aftershow called, Rose Recap. I host it with the one and only reality televsions expert, Nicole Seidman. It’s tons of fun! I will be posting a new episode this week! But, here is a cute picture of myself and Nicole to hold you over!

Let me start this blog with a few things…off the topic. First off, I am so sorry for the delay with my blog. I really do try to get my blog taken care of in a speady fashion. This week was just tough with some work in the way and then Stephen and I were trying to take care of some wedding planning. Good news, we found a pastor who we love to marry us! We are super excited! The pastor is very funny, relateable, and has a beautiful way of speaking the word of God. We are so excited to have this detail checked off of our “to do” list! Next up, I very much appreciate everyone being so responsive and kind with my blog post’s. I do appreciate the constructive criticism as well. Just like I said from day one, I am not a writer. I do my best to use my spell check, correct my gramatical errors, and have other people proof read my blogs before I post them. But, at the end of the day, I am only human and I make mistakes….gramatical mistakes that apparently drive people crazy. Sorry…sorry…sorry. That’s all I can say. I’m trying here people!

Now, on with The Bachelor!! I know it’s Thursday. I know that by now, you have all seen the episode and probably have read a hundred other blogs with people’s thoughts and predictions. If you care to hear mine, late or not , read on. If you don’t care, then stop here and check back next week after Monday night’s episode!

Not a whole lot of hooks in this episode. Only a few things to touch on here. I’ll start with Michelle’s black eye. Where in the world did that come from?!?! Sadly, she even looks beautiful with a black eye! Listen, Michelle is great television. Which ever casting company casted her for this season…well, hats off to you!! Michelle definitely has a little “crazy” in her but, to be honest, I am unsure whether we are seeing the entire Michelle here. With television, it’s so easy to portray someone in just one way. Now, I am not excusing Michelle’s crazy comments, the nasty remarks she makes about the girls, or her eagerness to nab Brad in the sack; I am just simply stating that it is easy to only portray this “crazy” characteristic that Michelle is showing us. I am sure somewhere deep down inside Michelle, she is a sweet woman with good morals and values. (Sarcastic face here) Just kidding everyone! Here’s your poll for the week: Who gave Michelle her black eye? A) Michelle, herself. B) Brad…when she was “nabbing” him in the sack. C) One of the girls in the house? ie…Ashley S, Ashley H, or Chantal O.

Moving right along. We get a “one-on-one” date with Chantal O. Gotta love The Bachelor and the helicopters! To be honest, Stephen and I always fly in a helicopter to and from dinner! Nah, on a serious note, I love that Brad and Chantal got to spend some quality time on Catalina Island. It looked like tons of fun…minus the muggy water they were walking around in! The conversation between the two of them seems to flow very nicely and casually considering the obvious. I like Chantal O. She reminds me of myself. My one word of advice to Chantal O is this, just let go! Let the love happen. Stop utilizing your time with Brad to dwell on your insecurities. This is a very tough experience for the women involved and for Brad. It’s hard to surpress how you are feeling and hard to ignore the jealousy. In the end, no one wants a mate that they have to continue to reassure them that everything is ok. It gets exhausting. Believe me, I know from experience.

The group date was the same ole’ thing….a bunch of girls competing for the Bachelor’s time and attention. Being from the show, I understand it. Looking at it as an outsider, I would think, “Get a grip ladies! No woman should chase a man around for nothing in return!” But, that’s real life and we aren’t in real life, are we?!?!?! We’re in “Bachelor world”. Be patient ladies. I can promise, Brad has known who he wants to get to know more from day one. You will get your time.

Wrapping things up with the rose ceremony. All I have to talk about is how GORGEOUS Emily looked in that stunning blue dress! It fit her like a glove! The blue hue of that dress complimented her complexion so beautifully that she could not have made a better choice! A+ for Emily! Now, I know you all are thinking that I just adore Emily so much that she can do no wrong in my eyes. Not true. I do adore Emily and just from what I am seeing, she is a beautiful woman…inside and out. With that said, I need to see more of who Emily is as a person. We, as viewers, have not gotten to know who Emily really is yet. I believe that stands true for Brad as well. Emily is very well poised and put together but, is that because she is being so guarded that she is hiding something? I sure hope not!

Please feel free to post a comment, question, or your answer to my poll about Michelle this week. I love hearing from you guys and all your thoughts on not just the Bachelor but, anything else you want to share or ask me!

XOXO,

First and foremost, I dedicate this blog to my wonderful Yia Yia and my loving Aunt’s…Aunt Tina and Aunt Maria. Thanks for having the time and patience with me while learning to cook! Happy Birthday my dear Tina Mou…I love you so much and appreciate all you’ve done for me….

I have enjoyed cooking for many years now. I love new recipes and I love to perfect my favorite one’s. Cooking has always been an enjoyable event for me. Over the years, it’s brought me closer to my family. I love nothing more than to be surrounded by my aunt’s, my brother and sister, my cousin’s, my father, Stephen, and all of my loved one’s as we are all hands in and creating food to enjoy together! My favorite past time….

Now, for the best soup in the world!! (In my opinion )

What you’ll need:

~ 2-3 lbs of chicken (Aunt Maria always taught me to use chicken thigh’s with the bone in them because it gives the best flavor to the broth. If you don’t like that meat, also boil a few boneless, skinless chicken breasts to use in your soup.)

~5 Cups Chicken broth

~1 Cup Orzo (spend the extra money for the name brand, it cooks and tastes better)

~4 eggs

~3/4 to 1 cup strained lemon juice or to taste (use fresh lemons…I personally use 3 or 4 large lemons because I like more of a “lemony” flavor)

~1 1/2 t salt & 3/4 t pepper (or to taste)

*Boil the chicken for about an hour. Remove chicken and strain 8 cups of broth into clean pot. Add salt and pepper. Add orzo and cook 15-20 minutes. In a blender or mixer, beat eggs until frothy. This part is tricky. I find it easiest to use my Kitchen Aid mixer when doing this…I crack the eggs and turn my mixer on and let it just beat the eggs for about 10 mins..give or take…until it’s frothy. Just watch it and use a good eye to judge. Add the lemon juice to the eggs once they are frothy. Slowly, add small amounts of hot broth into the eggs until the eggs are warm. Then, slowly add this to the hot soup stirring constantly so the eggs DO NOT CURDLE. Cook 2-3 more minutes. Add pieces of chicken to the soup, if desired. Serves 8-10.

My suggestion is to make this soup with your family, children, or which ever loved one’s you desire. Enjoy the bonding time and the experience to grow closer together over a great meal. Who needs therapy when you’ve got that!

Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you like my blog…and this yummy recipe!!

XOXO,

Well, hello everyone! Sorry I am a little late with my blog. Monday was a busy day for me as Stephen and I went surfing with the Stagliano family and then I had a wonderful girls night with some great friends as we gushed over the Bachelor. I spent Tuesday recovering.

Monday’s episode was better than the last, I’ll admit that first. Next, I’ll admit, I just love Emily. When I think about Monday night’s episode, she stands out most to me in such a good way. If you follow me on twitter, the only thing I tweeted was, “I LOVE Emily…and so does Brad!”. Emily is a beautiful woman, inside and out. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and this is mine. She handles herself with so much grace, strength, pride, respect, and dignity. She has endurred some tough things in life and has definitely come out on top of everything. She is a beautiful woman, a strong mother, and will make some man very happy one day. Brad is clearly taken with Emily also…just as he should be. I can tell this because, Brad gets so nervous around Emily. He looks at her, her beauty, and who she is as a woman and it almost stuns him. When Brad was opening his heart and telling Emily about the way he felt about her, I knew it was all true. His words were real because he said things to her that were very similar to things he once said to me. I’m glad to see Brad opening up so much and sharing true feelings so early on. This is a different Brad than the one I once met just three years ago! Love is in the air!!

Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, let’s discuss the rest of the episode. I do not think I need to rehash the entire episode. If you are reading my blog, I’m assuming you saw the episode or have already read the millions of other blog’s out there. How about the date with Ashley S?! Brad and Ashley S should definitely keep their day jobs! Singing is not their forte! Not only did their singing make my skin crawl but, it also gave me and Stephen a great laugh!! What good sports those two were. It was hilarious!! The reward for that embarrassing moment….listening to a private performance with Seal. Well deserved. I think back in the day, we all loved Seal and his “Kissed by a Rose”. It is a beautiful love song. I was glad that this date also brought warmness to Ashley’s heart and made her think of her father. It’s terribly hard to loose a parent and so wonderful when we can be reminded of them.

The group date…filming an action movie. Seems like tons of fun. I think its safe to know that Brad Womack will not be persuing an acting career after the Bachelor! Hahaha! Just teasing you, Brad! The girls seemed to have tons of fun with this as they should have. And then there was creepy Michelle. What is with this girl?! She is very pretty and super hot but, why be the crazy girl?! Come on sister, get it together! No man really likes the crazy girl. They may like them for one night but, crazy girls cannot be turned into a house wife! I’d say Michelle is either putting on a show for production or, she’s just flat out got a little crazy in her! My advice to Michelle…and every other girl on this show as well as dating in general…be honest. You cannot have a relationship based off of dishonesty. Be yourself and be proud of who you are…good or bad. You will find someone who will love you and except you for who you are…all the baggage, all the good, all the bad…everything.

It was a nice surprise to see Shawntel recieve a “date rose”. I believe she deserved it. Great acting skills, she tried hard, and the make-out scene…totally worth a guarantee through this rose ceremony. Now she has ample opportunity to continue to open up and see if there is a genuine connection between her and Brad.

On with the rose ceremony…blah, blah. Not much to hit on here other than Chantal O. Yes, I have heard the rumors about her and Brad although, I have not read any blog’s and I am desperately trying to ignore the rumors. I enjoy watching the show and being surprised. I want to see the connection and relationships develop on their own. I LOVE surprises!! With that said, this is the first moment where we saw a connection with Brad and Chantal. From the looks of their comfortablitly with each other, I think this connection is days old and we just haven’t been shown it until now. Brad also opened up to Chantal. He revealed to her his true feelings. I heard truth behind those words..take it or leave it. I think there is a love story there that will blossom before our eyes. Now to hit the elephant in the blog…Madison. I respect Madison’s decision to leave. She wasn’t feeling the connection and I totally commend someone who can admit that and leave such a wonderful experience. I find it commendable. I think Madison underestimated the experience going in to it and then later regreted not being true to herself from day one. She is beautiful and looked fabulous in that low cut number at the rose ceremony. You go girl! She will find the vampire loving, hot man, who loves her and respects her…unconditionally!

Last but, definitely not least….Alli. Girl, I just liked you that much more with your “pit stains” comment! Ladies, you know you have all thought the same thing a time or two! I hate it when I get sweaty! I may not get pit stains…but, when I get nervous…my whole face pours out in sweat! If you all remember back to my season with Brad…on our fantasy date, I was getting ready to tell him that I was falling for him. All the sudden, it switches to another seen and my hair is pulled up in a pony tail. That’s because I was dripping with sweat because I was soooo nervous! So unnattractive! HAHAHAHA!

~I want to take just a moment to answer a few questions that you all posted for me! Thanks for doing this…it’s my favorite part!!

Cindy asked, “Do you think Brad has changed?” Yes, I do Cindy. I can only hope so. I believe he genuinely wants to find someone to share his life with. We’re humans, its in our nature.

Kristy A asked, “How much time and activities occur between contestants and the Bachelor that don’t make the show? Is there any regular hangout time or all scheduled activities/dates? Where did you get your dress that you wore in the first episode?” Kristy, you have to remember that this is a reality show. Out of a 24 hour day, we are filmed the majority of the time..all except showering and sleeping. So, in the one hour episode, excluding commercials, there is no way to fit it all in. Production chooses to put the best stuff in that fits the story line of that episode or the entire series. All of the dates are scheduled. The personal interviews are scheduled. Rose ceremonies are scheduled. If you aren’t on a date, you are pretty much free to do your own thing at the house…with a camera around . My dress from the first episode was a Dolce & Gabbana.

Erika Jill wrote, “Is there internet for the contestants to talk with their family or closest friends? What is your most embarrassing moment from The Bachelor or Bachelorette?” Erika, there is no internet or telephones for that matter. Now, I will say this, production does make exceptions for people with children and people who absolutely have to do some business for their work. As long as it is approved before hand. My most embarrassing moment came from my season of The Bachelor. For those of you who watched my season with Brad, know that I became closest friends with McCarten Delaney from that season. (we are still great friends to this day…I love my little Lint Licker!) We were hiding from the camera’s at the bottom of the house by a hot tub that no one ever used. I stepped in and fell straight to my bum! It hurt so bad! I didn’t want anyone to know I had fallen in fear that it would make the show so, McCarten ran up to our room to bring me dry clothes. Once we both made it back upstairs to our room, I was bent over…bare butt in McCarten’s face as she was putting neosporin on my wound and bandaid’ing it up for me when a production crew member walked in. He didn’t realize what was going on and was totally embarrassed when he thought he walked in on us getting a little freaky! So awkward. Days later, I was in a swimsuit around Brad. He thought I had dirt on my back…no, it was the humongous bruise that my little tumble left for me!! Not many people know that story but, McCarten and I laugh about it to this day!!

Hope you all enjoyed the blog and my little tid bits of the behind the scene’s. Feel free to leave a comment or a question that you would like me to answer on next week’s blog!!

XOXO,

Another Bachelor episode down…more Bachelor talk to blog about. First off, I had the opportunity of watching some of this episode at the EXTRA studio last night with the beautiful Terri Seymour. Just a couple of girls…watching The Bachelor! It will air tonight. (Check your local listings)

I have to pick and choose the things I would like to talk about in this blog. Unfortunately, I found last night’s episode kind of boring. I hate saying that. But, with that said, there was a bit of drama…so, we’ll start there. What is with Michelle?! I thought in the beginning that I really liked her but, by the end of last night’s episode…I started to feel like there was a bit of crazy behind her eyes! So, it was her 30th birthday…HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE. I have to admit, even I got sick of hearing about her birthday. She also became a bit competitive. Here’s the thing…people get confused once this process begins. For some people, I believe this becomes more of a competition that they want to win..rather than finding a wonderful person to share a relationship with. For Michelle, I haven’t quite figured her out yet. With that said, I know I don’t like how she talks like the other women are below her. That’s never a good attitude to have and I find it more unnattractive than anything. Next in the drama, came Melissa and Raichel. Needless to say, I think we all say what came of that bit of drama. Melissa and Raichel joined the legacy of the departed. It’s never good to see a grown woman cry but, ladies…you have to be true to yourself and not get sucked into the unneccesary drama! A tip of advice here, DO NOT waste the five minutes you have with the Bachelor to discuss your drama with the other women. No man wants a woman with drama…PERIOD.

As for the dates, I loved the date with Ashley H. It seems as though Brad and Ashley H had a lot of fun and really great conversation. One thing was missing though…the chemistry. We’ll see if anything transpires there…

I also loved the group date with the Red Cross. Charity work is always a beautiful thing. We had the opportunity to join in and help save lives this past Saturday at the Red Cross in Woodland Hills. Let’s be honest though, the filming and making out in takes was just a ploy to get good tv. Brad, as Gustovo, was pretty comical though!

Jackie gets the “Pretty Woman” date. Such a wonderful date for a woman. What girl doesn’t love to get time at the spa, an abundant amount of designer dresses to choose from, add the shoes..hair..and make-up; the dream date we all wish we could afford! Brad was a nice touch too! Just like the others, I loved this date….but still, the passion was missing. I’m curious, did anyone else see when Jackie totally tried to kiss Brad???

Not much to say about the Rose Ceremony. Too much drama for me between Melissa and Raichel. The look on Brad’s face read, too much drama for him as well. The only chemistry I saw in this entire episode, was with Brad and Emily. Brad get’s shy and nervous around Emily. That’s a good sign. My feelings stay the same…Emily is defintely in the final two. If she doesn’t end up with Brad, she will be the next Bachelorette.

Now, a lot of you send me a ton of questions about the production side of the show. I thought I would take a few sentences to address some of those.

~Remembering the names of people at the rose ceremonies….a producer pulls the Bachelor aside and gives the names they want recited in a certain order. Plus, it helps the Bachelor or Bachelorette to remember everyone’s name under pressure. To be honest, you’ve known these people for a matter of three days…you can’t remember their names! The show is edited so you do not see the Bachelor or Bachelorette leaving after every 3 or 4 names are called.

~Calling home to our families…as contestants, you are not allowed to use the phone to call your mama, sister, or best friend for that matter. But, production does make an exception for people with children. Come on people, the production company isn’t that cold hearted to keep you from speaking to your two year old!

~Why are the contestants always crying when they have only known the bachelor or bachelorette for a short period of time…it seems ridiculous, I know…all those unneccessary tears being shed. As viewers, I always ask people to remember all the things involved. These women/men are seperated from their families 3 or 4 days prior to the start of filming. Which in turn means that have been cooped up without being able to talk to their loved ones before ever meeting the Bachelor/Bachelorette. Mix in the alcohol, the rejection from a hot human being, the experience ending, and the exhaustion…this equals tears for GREAT TELEVISION!

Thanks for reading. To post a comment, click on a photo and it will lead you to a comment page. I would love to hear your thoughts and comments. Have a blessed day!

XOXO,
